How gift card rates work
A gift card rate tells you how much of your payout currency you receive for each unit of the card's value. For example, a rate of 1,000 NGN per dollar on a $50 card means a gross amount of 50,000 NGN before any fees.
Why rates differ
Every category has its own rate. A category is a specific product within a gift card type, such as USA Amazon Ecode, so the rate reflects the region the card was issued in, whether it is physical or an e-code, and its value range. Rates also change over time, so check the rate again before each sale.
Fees and the final amount
Your estimate shows the card value, the rate, any fee and the amount you'll receive. Your rate is locked when you submit, and the final payout is subject to card verification.
